To best support our business around the globe, our IT function has moved to a partnership model of service delivery. The lynch pin between users and our technology, we solve every day problems but are pivotal in the successful roll out and adoption of business-led IT projects. Based in our London HQ, working in a small team you will be supporting 180 people in our corporate and commercial functions with senior leaders and Executives your key client group, but as a global business you’ll be part of a broader team, also supporting colleagues in 3-4 EMEA office locations, with occasional travel to Mold, North Wales.
With no two days the same, this role would suit an IT professional with previous experience in a similar role, passionate about technology, and quick to build credibility and relationships with senior stakeholders.
What we are looking for in this role
Technical expert
• Confident and experienced in supporting users with MS applications, MO365 and an array of video presence technologies – MS Teams, Zoom, Cisco –
• A good understanding of SAP and Hyperion would be beneficial
• Comfortable with successfully solving issues related to HP hardware and Apple devices
Business partnering
• Confidence in providing frontline support to Executive Committee and Senior Leadership
• Adept at translating IT problems and communicating in a relatable manner to the end users, and be the single point of contact for critical IT incidents
• Unflappable in a crisis, a calming influence and driven to provide positive, high quality end-user experience
• Committed to provide support in a timely manner in line with SLA’s
• A customer first approach
Curious problem solver
• Able to apply critical thinking to get to the route of problems. And be able to work with others and also give guidance to resolve the issue
• Ability to identify escalation paths through initial problem identification and appropriate follow-up with IT Towers resulting in expedited case closure
• Accountable for tracking incidents and requests to satisfactory conclusion
• Skilled Communicator, KBI Authors, i.e. PR Creation and End-User Communication Contact.
Active team player
• Proud to be representing ISIT to the business, upholding reputation’ supporting the wider team goals
• Working on ad-hoc project involvement and engagement with the business as part of the wider ISIT initiatives such as audits, O365 Roll out, Workday and SAP End User Project Involvement
• Supporting colleagues as projects require extra hands, or covering vacation
