Currently we are looking for R2R Accountant to join our Global Shared Services in Łódź (Poland)

 

This role blends activities of general accounting, processing journal entries, statutory reporting and standard set of reconciliations alongside providing financial decision support to plant finance managers and controllers. The role holder is expected to have knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.

 

Core responsibilities

 

  • day-to-day General Ledger operations: journal entries, accrual calculation, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end closing, intracompany reconciliations, various reports’ preparation and analysis
  • ensure daily operations are carried out according to the Group Finance policies
  • assist with departmental projects and standardization initiatives
  • identify and implement potential process improvements
  • assist with budget preparation
  • assist with the annual audit process
  • first line contact and support to any RTR related queries
  • support various reporting processes
  • ensure appropriate business controls are in place, recommend improvements where necessary

 

Requirements

  •  

  • min. 1 year of accounting experience
  • university degree in Accounting, Finance or Economy
  • proven knowledge of General Ledger processes
  • good understanding of accounting principles
  • ability to review, understand and interpret financial data
  • very good command of English, both verbal and in writing
  • proven knowledge of SAP or different accounting systems
  • very good MS Office skills
  • high level of customer service and very good communication skills
  • strong solving capabilities with an inquisitive mind-set to find solutions
