Role Purpose

The IS/IT Manager, Procurement and Manufacturing Delivery will lead and drive delivery of multiple IT solutions supporting Tate & Lyle’s Procure to Pay (P2P) and Innovate to Produce (I2P) line of business functions. This individual will support business users by leading a team of senior analysts and solution architects to design, develop, and implement applications systems such as ERPs, SmartOps, MoM/MES, OSIPI, SCADA, PLCs, HMIs and others.

This manager provides input to strategic decisions that affect these core functions of Tate & Lyle’s Global Operations organization. This person will develop project budgets, and then ensure delivery of these projects on-time, in-scope, in-budget, and with customer satisfaction. This person will have have CAPEX and OPEX budget responsibility for projects amounting to $3-4M CAPEX in FY20

• Collaborate with business leaders and roadmap managers to develop business cases for new projects supporting the GO Digital Roadmap in the Procurement and Manufacturing functions

• Deliver assigned projects on-time, in-budget, to-scope, and with customer satisfaction
• Understanding the business needs for solutions and providing the best IT solutions
• Understanding IT needs in parallel with business needs
• Lead product and technology validation process
• Ensure proper documentation as well as operational instructions for all newly introduced systems and technologies are provided
• Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure standards are followed

• Successful delivery of assigned projects in reporting space. Success is defined as:
• Full scope, On time, On budget, On quality, 100% customer satisfaction
• As a people manager, on-time recruiting of new team members / open positions (100 days or less) and the professional development of team members

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT experience delivering complex systems and ERPs in a manufacturing organization
• Experience in implementing Procure to Pay (P2P) line of business function with primary focus and functional background in SAP MM,IM modules 
• Experience in implementing digital procurement platform and products such as Ariba, Field Glass, Concur is a real plus
• Experience in implementing Innovate to Produce (I2P) line of business function with primary focus and functional background in SAP PP,QM,WM modules  
• Experience and knowledge in implementing ISA-95 standards of manufacturing (eg: MoM/MES software implementation and integration with upstream ERP, downstream OSIPI, SCADA, PLCs, HMIs etc)
• Experience in implementing digital manufacturing / SMART operations platform and products is a real plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team leadership and experience leading without authority / influencing stakeholders
