Role Purpose

To lead the dairy technical team to deliver the category business targets and to build the technical capability to support the dairy business regional growth strategies.



The main responsibilities of the role will be to:

  • Ensure the team complies with company health and safety rules and procedures.
  • Guide and develop team members, manage their performance and provide necessary trainings and guidance to drive innovative thinking and high quality technical project management to deliver agreed results
  • Ensure the team can apply market knowledge, customer insights, as well as technical knowledge for project execution and development.
  • Partner with business development & sales teams to prepare for customer technical presentations ensuring that requests are dealt to agreed timeframe
  • Provide consistent innovation/NPD ideas to the BDM/Sales and record the market successes out of them.
  • Build the technical dairy capability using T&L Food & Beverage Solutions ingredient portfolio to support the business growth.
  • Network with regional and global categories for knowledge and experience



  • Perform, Maintain and improve the EHS standard and requirements as set by the Company.  Participate in the company’s EHS program including training, audit etc., arranged by the company



  • Minimum BSc (or equivalent) in Food Science, Food Chemistry, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in product development within the food or related industry
  • 5+ years of experience in people management or team leadership


Technical skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of the food ingredients function in dairy applications
  • Knowledgeable in how food ingredients function especially T&L ingredients in dairy and non-dairy protein applications and the critical processing parameters.
  • Experience in operating plant equipment as well as guide and train new users
  • Experience at modifying and creating analytical methods, as well as interpreting analytical data of  dairy applications
  • Experience with solving complex problems and able to introduce new ways for solving problems
  • Guide and lead recipe creation and modification
  • Innovative thinking
